Lynwood P. Kornegay, O.R.F.

Lyn, as we call him, is originally from North Carolina but incidentally started his career in Orthotics at Shands Hospital. While a cast technician, Lyn discovered the field of O & P and his great affinity for orthotics. Lyn went about learning his trade as many orthotists do from others in this field. Lynwood’s combined years of practice as well as his ability to teach others has made him very well known in the medical community of Jacksonville, as well as a great asset to Florida O & P Services. He has over 15 years experience in this orthotic field. Lynwood has extensive training in advanced orthotics and is certified in the Walk Aide System, which is used for the treatment of drop foot.

Lyn enjoys home improvement projects, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family. Lyn works primarily out of our Jacksonville and Orange Park locations but is always more than happy to accommodate patients at whatever location is best suited for them.
